I truly believe there is almost a balance of both negative and positive. And there are people who can't see anything good and some of us who choose to see a lot of good.
The reason I say "almost a balance" is that total balance is the state of nonmovement. When a teeter-totter is "balanced" it is a horizontal line that doesn't move. Someone pointed this out to me. We think we want balance in life, but actually we need off-balance, in order to keep moving and motivated to do things. It may seem a bit frustrating and counterproductive to actually want things off-balance, but do you see my point? That's where we actually grow and gain character and develop strength. Food for thought.
And I also choose to separate people from their viewpoints. In other words people aren't bad or good, but have choices to think and act in one direction or the other. Personally I feel that there are such overwhelming numbers of choices every moment of the day, and by choosing to select the more positive ones, I've eliminated half right there.
