On Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day we only serve two meals each day to the public. Brunch at 10:00 a.m. and dinner at 5:00 p.m. We welcome all to share with us on these holiday occasions.  Friendship House, in the tradition of the Gospel, has a mission to feed the hungry. To do this we receive donations from the public and from other agencies. We rely on volunteer labor. Many organizations volunteer to prepare and serve a meal a month. If you would like to donate food (please, no home canned food) or to sponsor a meal please send us an e-mail at friends@cnw.com. In 1998 Friendship House served over 52,000 meals to the needy of Skagit County. We generally serve three meals per day, seven days per week. The exceptions to this policy will be Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. On those days only two meals will be available to the Public. Brunch will be served at 10:00 a.m. and dinner at 5:00 p.m. Anyone interested in volunteering to help with the preparation and serving of these meals please contact Sara Gunderson as soon as possible at 360-336-1529.
